PHASE-||- REPAIRING ROADS FOR (AL RIFAI & AL NAJJAR) NEIGHBORHOOD – WEST MOSUL, NINEWA GOVERNORATE

Scope of work:

AL KHATAB AL MUTAHIDA Co. had been contracted with (UNDP) to Repairing Roads For (Al Rifai & Al Najjar) Neighborhood – West Mosul, Ninewa Governorate according to BoQ & Iraq's standard Specifications for road and bridges.

The contract contains the following activities:

1- Removing all the damaged asphalt layers, all rubble and debris to a dump site approved by the local authorities.

2- Leveling the bottom, watering and compaction of the base up to (95%) of MDD.

3- Supply of materials, tools, machineries and manpower for filling the excavated places beneath the asphalt pavement & over the walkways with sub base Type (A)  in layers exceeding (25 cm), includes watering, and compaction of each layers up to (95%) of MDD and cleaning the surface with compressed air.

4- Replacing Damaged parts of Curbstone then provide concrete base (200*850) mm beneath the curbstone.

5- Supply of materials, tools, machineries and manpower for paving asphaltic concrete (stabilizer coarse) thickness (10 cm) after compaction and applying prime coat layer in a ratio of 1 L/ m2, compaction of the stabilizer layer up to 97% of MDD.

6- Supply of materials, tools, machineries and manpower for paving asphaltic concrete (binder coarse) thickness (6 cm) after compaction and applying tack coat layer in a ratio of 0.5 L/ m2, compaction of the binder layer up to (97%) of MDD.

7- Removing all the damaged parts of the walk way, casting (10cm thick) plain concrete using sulphate resistance cement and (C25MPa) concrete.

8- Supplying manholes,  gullies & Laying of Gullies pipes.
