MAINTENANCE, REHABILITATION AND PAINTING OF QAYARAH BRIDGE ROAD – AL MHWAR CHECKPOINT (WIDTH 7, 5M)

Scope of work:

AL KHATAB AL MUTAHIDA Co. had been contracted  with (Nineveh Governorate - Contracts Section) to complete the project within the allocations of transport amounts for immigration and displaced who amounted to (135) billion dinars for the province of Nineveh, where our company provided a package of general civil services and works according to the contract requirements and BoQ.

The contract contains the following activities:

1- Executing single tube culverts with diameter (1m) encapsulated in concrete and burial with (Sub-base Type A) by layers and thickness of each layer (20 cm) with spreading and compacting, taking into account the lateral inclinations of the entrances and exits of the culverts.

2- Supply of materials, tools, machineries and manpower for paving asphaltic concrete (Stabilizer coarse) thickness (10 cm).

3- Treating potholes , lifting cutting debris outside the road, and supplying (Sub-base  Type A) with a layer of (15 cm) thick gravel with spraying, and spreading a layer of asphalt concrete with the characteristics of the base layer (Stabilizer), up to the level of the old paving and spraying (Prime coat) material.

4- Paving asphaltic concrete thickness (6 cm) and treatment of cracks by cleaning them with compressed air, filling them with hot asphalt and mixer sand with compacting and spraying (Tack coat).

5- Fixing the shoulders of the road by Implement one layer from (Sub-base Type B) with a width of (2m) after spreading and compacting and connecting it to the lateral inclination (4%) to drain the water.

6- Paint the surface of the road with using hot thermoplastic road marking with the use of reflective granules.
