CONSTRUCTION AND PAVING ROAD OF ZAHRAT KHATOUN VILLAGE, SHOURA DISTRICT, NINEVEH GOVERNORATE

Scope of work:-

AL KHATAB AL MUTAHIDA Co. had been contracted with (Nineveh Governorate - Rural Development Department) to complete a project Construction and paving road of Zahrat Khatoun Village, Shoura District, Nineveh Governorate, where our company provided a package of general civil services and works according to the contract requirements and BoQ.

The contract contains the following activities:

1- Removing all earthy dirt, debris and unsuitable materials from the carriageway and shoulders from the site.

2- Supply of materials, tools, machineries and manpower for the work of cutting and burial with clean soil by layers with spreading and compacting and providing special levels for drainage with lateral slope (2-6%).

3- Provide materials and equipment for the construction of box culverts with reinforced concrete (class D/20 using sulphate resisting cement) and with a compression resistance of no less than (30) megapixels and demolishing, removing the old asphalt and existing damaged culverts from the site.

4- Laying a layer of sand and gravel with spraying and compaction not less than (95%) and make lateral slope (2-6%) with two layers and the thickness of each layer (15 cm).

5- Laying and compaction a layer of (Stabilizer coarse) with a total thickness of (10 cm) and width (6 m) and spray (Prime coat).

6- Fixing the shoulders of the road by using (Sub-base Type B) thickness (10 cm) with a width of (1.5 m) for each side of the road.

All requirements according to Iraqi roads and highways technical specification.
