AL KHATAB AL MUTAHIDA FOR CONTRACTING, GENERAL TRADING & REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS Ltd. was awarded the contract by BGP Inc. – CNPC (Iraq Branch) to deliver a complete Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (EPC) solution for a 170A Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power System.
This project demonstrates our expertise in delivering commercial and industrial solar energy solutions, supporting sustainable development through reliable, high-efficiency renewable energy systems.
Project Scope
The scope of work included the complete supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a fully integrated solar power system, including:
- Supply and installation of high-efficiency 650W+ bifacial (double-sided) photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
- Supply and installation of a 20 kW Felicity Hybrid Solar Inverter with advanced energy management technology and a 3-year warranty.
- Supply and installation of a 25 kWh Felicity Lithium Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) featuring an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) and a 5-year warranty.
- Design, fabrication, and installation of a 2 mm hot-dip galvanized steel mounting structure, engineered for long-term durability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
- Supply and installation of 6 mm² UV-resistant DC solar cables (red and black) connecting the PV modules to the inverter in accordance with international electrical standards.
- Supply and installation of DC and AC protection panels, circuit breakers, surge protection devices, grounding systems, electrical accessories, and all balance-of-system (BOS) components.
- Construction and installation of reinforced concrete foundations to securely anchor the solar panel support structure.
- Complete system testing, commissioning, performance verification, and client handover.
